Interesting story with this so bear with me. We driving along when our Dad alerts us to a McLaren coming up behind us. It swiftly overtakes us and then gets stuck in a stream of traffic so we followed it for several miles. We got to a dual carriageway and it did a couple of 'interesting' manoeuvres (see photo 4). Seeing this we wondered if we might come across it crashed somewhere and obviously hoped we wouldn't. But just a bit further up the road our Dad saw some bits of car and a number plate on the road and said "it's going to be the McLaren isn't it". Sure enough a few metres up the road there it was pulled over with a dent in the back and a very shocked looking driver who'd pulled over behind (see photos 3 and 5). Don't know what happened but clearly everyone was ok and it could have been a lot worse

I'm going to hazard a guess and say the McLaren caused that while 'cutting up'. I think the plate ending with 'E N D' would be more appropriate 😅

What a mess, if you drive like that you can't expect something different, I feel so sorry for the person driving the other car (VW Polo?), amazing find anyways!

[@JACK888 Turin Spotter] Thanks mate! I completely agree. I hope they had a dash cam to prove that it wasn't their fault though I guess it is pretty obvious

Complete idiot shouldn't have a car like this, or, drive it properly. I've got nothing against if you drive a bit faster, but never put anyone else at risk. Luckily he was alright and the damage looks repairable. Shame about this beautiful car and about the poor other drivers VW. Hopefully the owner learns from this not to drive like he's in car chance scene in a James Bond film. Superb spot though 👍

Thanks mate! @ST22HTV Completely agree. There's driving a bit quicker than perhaps you should an then there's just being stupid and this was definitely the latter

@JJMad from the other drivers reaction, I think he probably hit the McLaren whilst it was weaving through traffic
