Here's my submission for TBT. I spotted this great-looking 12C Spider at Phillips Place back in 2015. If I recall correctly, this was the very first McLaren I ever spotted on the streets. I wish I would have gotten better pics, but they are what they are. I really love the color on this.

@NCspotter I love the color as well. A great looking car must be sprayed in a vibrant paint job, IMHO. All the pics look very good brother! The money shot for me in this batch would be number #4

@Horse-Power thanks man! The color was just perfect in person. I know at the time I spotted this there was another 12C in Charlotte with the exact same color, but I've never seen it. Not sure if either one is still in the area. @thomcarspotter thanks man! I never really understood all the hate for the 12C's looks, I thought it looked great.

@NCspotter Hi Nick. I read one of your comments about me posting on Instagram and I forgot what pic of yours you placed that comment on. I gave up a long time ago, brother. I just don't have the time to do both. All my eggs are here on AG. I had yet another great weekend of spotting so I am really looking forward to Saturday. I read that the weather should be excellent. I am still looking forward to spotting a Huracan Performante spider. I really hope that all is well on your end? How was your weekend, buddy? As always II will be looking forward to your next post. Talk with you soon.

@Horse-Power I am mostly the same way, I just use it to keep up with friends and whatnot. I'm not really into Facebook so IG seems to be a good middle ground. I was in Charlotte from Wednesday night to Saturday morning and the weather was fantastic. I did catch a few cars over those days, as well as a red 458 Italia in downtown Cary this past Sunday when I was driving to work. The past couple of days have been pretty long, and I had to cover for another coworker today, so I just have had very little time to log on here. I'm hoping to get something posted on here soon though. Thanks for all your comments, they always keep me going. Have a great week brother and I'll talk with you later.

@NCspotter Hi Nick, sorry to read how busy your schedule is treating you! Just remember you need an escape and your spotting/photography is one of the answers for keeping your sanity. It is hard to believe that September is upon us. This year has flown bye very fast. as your brother I am always on the lookout for any new posts from you. We have been friends for awhile so I do like to read your comments concerning everything, and anything! Take care of yourself and I will talk with you really soon.

@Horse-Power I wish they would just schedule me with people I actually enjoy working with, I just keep getting stuck working with a few people who kind of bug me, or take forever during close. But anyway, I did happen to catch a 996 GT3 at work today, timing couldn't have been more perfect because it pulled in right as I did, and by the time I had taken a few pics and parked around back, the owner had already left. It was one that I had seen before but hadn't managed to get any pics of. If I can ever get non-closing shift then I'll definitely try to throw something new up here, I just don't usually get home till 10p at the earliest and I still have to eat supper so it gets into the wee hours of the night really quick after that haha. Cool finds on the McLaren/Lambo combo and Performante, and take care and I'll talk with you later.

@NCspotter Hi Nick. I figured we can chat about Mclaren since I drove the 600LT. It was just amazing! No turbo lag at all. The only fault that I experienced, was that the car was equipped with the optional Senna race seats. it was hard to get in and out of, but once I got my fat a$$ in, it was perfect, lol. The overall looks are stunning. The exhaust on the top of the engine cover is the selling point for the design of this car, IMHO. The carbon fiber bodywork screams RACE CAR when you look her over. It would be a very hard desision honestly between this and a Lamborghini Huracan Performante spyder. I believe in the end the V10 would be the selling point with that amazing sounding exhaust. If I had the means, I simply would have both in the garage, Ha, ha. Anyways brother have a great weekend, and I will talk with you soon.

@Horse-Power it's crazy how far McLaren has come in such a short time. The 12C was a good entry to its class, but the 650S and definitely the 720S are so good at everything that you wonder where McLaren can go next. There is a 600LT in Charlotte, and I suspect the McLaren enthusiast here in Raleigh has one as well, but I have not seen either of them yet. I still contend that the Evora 400 is the best new car on sale though, and if I had the means I would definitely own a blue one. Thanks as always for your comments, I'll talk with you later!
