Better option is Canon R100. I regret not buying it tbh. Price is same as 2000d and r100 is better
It's mirrorless, up to 143 focus points not like in 2000d only 9 points, more photos/second only bad thing is that r100 have worse battery than 2000d but overall still r100 is better

Is the Canon EOS 2000D really that good?
I’ve been looking at photos on Autogespot taken with it, and honestly, the shots look great...
By the way, I’ve never used a polarizing filter because my old camera doesn't support it

Well, i have 2000d for more than a month and i kinda regret buying it.
Huge advantage is it has a better sensor than my previous camera, and it allows you to transfer photos via an app.
But sadly most action shots come out blurry. And when car is standing they Also come out Like that.
It all depends on your Experience to be honest.
For me my previous camera is better,
maybe I just got used to it, but photos from

From my Sony are much better for me.
If i were you i would buy something different then 2000d
Sony a6000 or canon r100 should be great beacause they are mirrorlees.

I use my phone with filter for pictures but i am so happy that you are back on Autogespot after a year!
