18/07/2026 - Cool swiss X5 M, its plate was spotted back in 2008 also in Jesolo by @///Marco.it on an M5 E61 Touring! While taking photos of this, two old dudes pulled up on a scooter and one of them had apparently nothing better to do in his miserable empty life other than harass me about the photos because of “privacy” and because it “was his house and not a public place” (it was a literal hotel parking in the open and he was just a guest) and had me delete the photos (which luckily I took with the phone so I literally recovered them one minute later). Such a loser

True, even if this is actually the first unpleasant experience of this entire year. I know friends who had more unpleasant experiences. I luckily only ever met three absolutely out of their minds owners and a couple more weren’t that friendly but only three times it was some absolute clowns (the 599 GTB, the Panamera GTS and a white XM I couldn’t post). This dude from the X5 M wasn’t even the owner…

It was at Lake Garda as soon as I exited the train station, there was a 971 Panamera GTS outside of a bar so I started taking photos and a dude sitting at a table (looked like a straight up gangster) told me to go there and he basically started questioning me and telling me not to dare photograph the plate. I remember him saying “Take the photos of the car but without the plate on sight” which was obviously impossible for me as it would’ve meant only taking side photos. Luckily I was already done with all the angles by the time he called me over and I managed to act like I only took a side photo and he let me leave. I obviously then posted in on AG :)

Very cool X5M, pretty big downgrade from the M5 E61 tho! I hate when people are miserable about taking pictures of cars, I unfortanately had some bad encounters like this, but only one resulted on not being able to post a car on Autogespot! Sadly it was my first M5 E60! :(

Owner? I don't think so. But it was the driver, he was dressed more like a mechanic! He had the special trousers yk! He pulled up to the car wash and I asked him if I could take pics and he said that I can't because he's in hurry, so I continued my spotting sesh on nearby crossroad, I started taking pics when he stopped there and he rolled his window down and he started threathening to beat me if I take pictures, so I have 1 pretty bad picture! It was a beautiful brown M5, my friend saw it at a meet once so I'd say my theory about mechanic joyriding is pretty valid!
