Last week I stopped by Whole Foods, and while I was driving through the plaza I noticed this Mercedes parked in one of the other lots. I noticed the Hamann logo on the back, so I pulled in and snapped a few pics. Wasn't exactly sure what it was, but after a bit of research, I found that it was a very rare Hamann Spyridon. I believe this is the first of its kind to be posted from America. Exotics from aftermarket tuners such as Hamann, Mansory, and the like are quite rare in NC and are especially uncommon in the Triangle region (Raleigh/Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill), so I was quite stunned to find this parked among the otherwise typically normal collection of cars at Waverly Place.

@carspotter.eu thanks man! There are plenty of regular G63s around here, but these Hamann Spyridons are crazy rare.

@NCspotter. Hi Nick. Regular G wagons have always had a cult status here in the states. This Hamann version is just stunning! The wheels are a perfect marriage to the muscular curves of this beast. Excellent capture Brother! The work behind the camera is first rate!

@Horse-Power @OPspotter thanks fam! I see G55s and G63s all the time, and usually barely take a second glance at them, but after seeing the Hamann badge on the back, I knew it was something very rare and special.

@thomcarspotter thanks man! The crazy thing is, prior to this year, I hadn't ever seen a modded G-Class. Now I've seen two (this and a Brabus that I have yet to post).
